"Everything beyond expectations, owner switched on AC before our arrival for room to be warm for us. Hot water all the time. Good breakfast. Old town close just 10 minutes uphill walk. We had a short but wonderful stay at this hotel. Strongly recommend it as a good and quiet place."

"We stayed in Bora Hotel in Gjirokaster only for one night. Although only for a short time but we experienced a very nice welcome especially from Lola. She was very nice and she also speaks very good Italian."

"We stayed at this hotel for two days, and I have to say the experience was nothing short of fantastic. Everything was spotless, the location was great, but what really stood out was the kindness, courtesy, and attentiveness of both the staff and the owner. They weren’t just incredibly welcoming to us, but to every guest staying at the hotel, and even to people just stopping by for a drink at the hotel bar. I highly recommend this place — if you’re passing through the area, make sure not to miss this hotel. The experience is truly wonderful."

"Sehr netter Vermieter. Hat sich intensiv im Vorfeld per WhattsApp gekümmert. Die Wohnung war groß mit Klimaanlage und komplett ausgestattet. Hier konnte ich in der Mitte einer Albanischen Community ganz viel landestypisches erleben. In 45 Minuten Fussmarsch ist man am zentralen Platz. Es fahren auch Busse von der nahegelegenen Hauptstrasse."

Međutilm, apartman nema ni balkon ni tarasu, nalazi se na cetvrtom spratu u zgradi koja nema lift.Javni parking nije dostupan vec morate iznajmiti privatni koji kosta sedam eura na dan ako zelite da ste bezbrizni po pitanju svog vozila. Pogled je u susjedne zgrade. Vlasnik objekta je jako ljubazan i korektan i profesionalan. Lokacija je fantasticna, blizu su trgovine , plaza, restorani. Mi smo oduševljeni Albanijom i sigurno se vracamo sljedece godine."
"We absolutely loved our stay in Valbone with Sofia and her family at Gjelaj guest house. They are in a great location for those wanting to walk the Valbona pass, they are the first guesthouse coming off the walking track. The guesthouse is in the most serene, peaceful location, with wonderful views. The food is all home made, locally sources and you can taste its great quality and freshness. This location is cash only, and no where near a cash machine. Highly recommend, and would come back!"

"The apartment is very clean, with great views. There are all things in it you may need during your stay. The owner and all her family are very carefull. It is very convenient to have parking place. The owner has a small shop in the same buildng, where you can find some essential products, exchange money. Our check-in was very late, the son of the owner waited for us till 1.30 a.m. We liked the apartment so much that we asked to stay for an extra night."

"Host was very nice and pleasent. Rooms were big and cleaned. Apartament has 2 balconies, tv and big fridge. The view from the balcony is amazing, couldn't be better. One of the best in Albania. Great experience to see it while drinking morning coffee."
