"Best value for money we had in the past 2 months of travel. The breakfast was amazing (and vegetarian), the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the water in the shower was consistently hot. The host was lovely and she let us store our luggage for a night while we were at the Island. We used the laundry and the clothes came back clean and undamaged. You can buy the tickets for the boats going to/from Isla del Sol at the hostel. I would recommend doing that so you can skip the line at the ticket office. The prices are the same everywhere, 40 to go to the north of the Island and 30 to go back from the south."

"Decent location in the town with very nice hosts. Breakfast was really nice, with eggs fruit and yoghurt. The hosts were extremely helpful when I fell ill and brought what I needed to my room. There’s a very nice view of the lake on the top floor too. Shower was hot and they also let me store my bag when I went to Isla del sol."

"The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful. They gave us great advice regarding what to do and see in Copacabana and on la Isla del Sol. We stayed 2 nights there then 2 nights on the island camping. The hosts kept part of our stuff (bags) which we did not need for the 2 days we were on la Isla (made the hike quite a bit easier...) Breakfast is simple but good and complete - fills you. Bed is warm, shower has hot water. We stayed in the top room and had easy access to the top terrasse. It was an amazing view any time of the day. We crossed paths with quite a few other backpackers over breakfast. You're likely to see people that will go on the island at the same time as you. Overall amazing value for money."
"Room was carpeted and a bit dusty. We wore sandals inside. The shower trim (control handle) was duck-taped...because there was some small current in it. Not ideal for a shower. We always made sure to turn on/off the shower while being dry and using a towel or plastic bag. Minor inconvenience but quite shocking (ah!) at first."
