"There was nothing to really "like" - nothing standing out - IMHO room facilities, decoration, bathroom and bedding where merely acceptable."

The owner's agony on low power consumption is obvious. 1) the fuse controling TV & AirConditioner was off - had to do a bit of troubleshooting in order to get the TV operational 2) lighting in the room extremely low 3) stove required ~45 minutes to prepare one cup of coffee. The road to get to the property is suitable for one way traffic. If you crossed with another vehicle one of the two would have to reverse. Pet friendliness was limited to the owner's pets and was not extended to the guests' pets. The owner resented the fact that I traveled with my pet noticing that I should have informed up-front.

"What an amazing place to stay. the house is beautiful and well decorated. The pool is amazing and made our holiday. The beds were very comfortable. The showers and bath were also very good. Plenty of cooking utensils and glasses and plates etc."

The meter for the air conditioning was a bit annoying but once I'd got enough coins ok.

When making the booking for 2 or 3 bedroom, booking.com must state that the other room in the mansion are also simulataneously for rent with strangers. This can be an unexpected suprise for those who wants to spend family time specially since the kitchen and living room are to be shared.

"The place feels like home and is just on the edge of the national park. The owner made sure I had everything I needed, even though he wasn't there for the majority of my stay. Suds and Didi that help at the guest house were so amazing. Very caring and friendly and made sure I was entertained during my stay. Didi's cooking is the best I had during my travels in Nepal. This place might not be for people that like comfortable hotels, but I loved staying in a mud house and being this close to nature. I highly recommend it."
