Located in the Escaleras Mountains, Villas Alturas has an outdoor pool with stunning views of Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast. Air-conditioned rooms and villas overlook the tropical gardens, mountains and ocean. Decorated in warm colours, each bright room has tiled floors and a private bathroom. Villas offer a living room and a modern kitchenette with a hob, microwave and coffee maker. You can enjoy a free breakfast in the kuhinja. The 24-hour reception includes a tour desk, where you can arrange snorkelling or diving trips, whale and dolphin-watching cruises and rainforest treks. Airport transfers can also be organized. Located just off the Costanera Highway, Villas Alturas is only a 5-minute drive from unspoilt beaches. Manuel Antonio National Park is a 35-minute drive away.

"The villas are in a stunning location. The views are endless, we could have spent all day just gazing out to sea and the surrounding hills. The staff were wonderful and the terrace area, bistro and pool were a joy to spend time in. The villa was quiet, well-equipped and the private terrace was a great way to start and end the day."
"Nothing. The villas will benefit from some remodelling over time but we had such a great stay. There was a power cut due to a fallen tree on our first night but the issue was fixed by 10pm, much quicker than had it happened at our home!"
"The location has an amazing view on the ocean. Food in the restaurant was good. I got a big villa with one bedroom for myself. It had also a fully equipped kitchen. It was clean and spacious."
"Maybe I was still a bit of season, but the bar and restaurant was closing around 6:30 in the evening. The room I stayed and the furniture there was a bit dated. Still ok, but I think an Update would make this place match its exceptional location."

"What a beautiful setting amazing views of ocean whales tale and jungle. Rooms are so spacious with lovely verandahs and a wooden hut area to watch sun setting. Food is divine and service is great. What a beautiful place."

"I\nLike to help clean and comfortable.The beds were and how obviously quiet they were meant to be.And the balcony was amazing addition. I found confusing.Where's the bathrooms had signs on them with specific numbers that seem to be assigned to room that were a little confusing.I'm not sure if there was a room there or if it was another room.It was a confusing sign that said number six or number five , but the bathroom souls probably could use more hooks on the wall , but other than that was great"
