"Specious, light, well equipped apartment with extraordinary views. Air condition works great in the bedroom. Bed is comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Towels are cotton with good absorbance. House cleaning does a great job each day. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Near to some good restaurants and at walking distance to Colonial Zone."

"For later checkout they wanted to charge 60 USD even though the hotel was far from full. For that amount one can go to the spa of adjacent big hotels."
"Location was good.. The Apartment Hotel was clean and well managed For a sea view you need to be on the 5 or 6th floor . The owner has the 7th floor and is on site . The staff were delightful. The seaview ( Rm 502) has x1 bedroom & overlooks the sitting and lounging area adjacent to the pool of the Crowne Plaza Hotel before the sea which was okay. Lots of restaurants close by and used by the locals The boardwalk is 7-8 Km long and wheelchair friendly. They are slowly gentrifying the Colonial area and making it mobility friendly"
"Santo Domingo (SD) has a lot of traffic which is noisy and always Tooting their horns for awareness. The Dominican Republic (DR) has a garbage problem in general and SD is not the exception. The tides bring a lot of broken up plastics and their are groups that do Volunteer cleaning . To cross the busy roads in area where there are a dearth of traffic light and Zebra crossings one has to be prepared to Jaywalk and put your hand up to stop the traffic . We were there for a month. Most tourists would see what the wanted in 2-3 days SD was more expensive than Spain for eating & drinking."
"A nice place to stay at the Malecon, walking distance to Zona Colonial, and just a few kilometers longer to Piantini. Safe and good neighborhood. Big apartment, not the cheapest, but the Ocean-view upgrade is recommended 👍"
