The Antonius is a luxurious boutique hotelski kompleks in the heart of the old town of Tartu, directly opposite the main building of Tartu university. Tartu Town hall is 170 metres away. This elegant hotel offers individually designed, air-conditioned rooms with minibars and large bathrooms. They are decorated with historic wallpapers, wall paintings, fireplaces and authentic antique furniture. The rooms feature wide windows and high ceilings, and offer views of Tartu University or the adresa’s courtyard. The Antonius Boutique Prebivalište is located in a historic building first mentioned in the 16th century. As the house is a listed heritage building, great care was taken during restoration work to protect and preserve interior and exterior features. Breakfast is served at the jelovnik which offers rich cold buffet menu and warm a’la carte dishes together with gourmet coffee and hidromasažarkling wine. Guests can also enjoy gourmet à la carte dinner at this gastronomski stol under the starlit sky as the prostor za jelo is situated in a vaulted cellar room with a glass atrium. The ground floor features a fireplace lounge with a library for reading, having a glass of aperitif or relaxing next to the open fire.

"We loved everything about this wonderful gem of a hotel. Location - perfect, in the old town, opposite the famous and beautiful Tartu University. Building - interesting history, detailed in the information book provided in the bedrooms. The interior is absolutely gorgeous and all of the historic architectural features are preserved beautifully. Rooms and beds - so comfortable with luxurious bathrooms too. Staff - perfect balance of welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Restaurant - not to be missed. Such a beautiful room with lovely ceilings (and even the toilet was in a beautiful room!). Food was pretty much Michelin quality, done to a high standard with delicious and really interesting flavours using lots of local ingredients too. And an excellent wine list. Thank you to our waitress for superb service. I only wish we lived closer and could stay again."
