I didn't contact the reception much, but they were helpful at the check-in. Next time in Cairo - back here for sure. Good triple room with bathroom, hot water working, towels, and soap. The room is equipped with a fridge and TV (one channel). The hotel is located on the 15th floor, and the elevator is working (it is an interesting elevator indeed). No cockroaches or other insects."

The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. "Amir Palace Hotel is located in a working-class neighborhood near the station. I’m the side streets there are all kind of small shops and market stalls. The staff of the hotel do not speak English very well, but they are friendly and helpful. They arranged for me to travel to Abydos by taxi and with a translator to visit the famous Temple of king Seti I and the 5,000 year old enclosure of king Khasekhemwy."
