"Amr was fantastic and very hospitable. He helped us organise an excellent local guide and driver, a Felucca ride, and airport transfers all at good prices. I recommend staying on the west bank as it is more peaceful and relaxed. The rooftop restaurant is fantastic and has great views of the valley of the kings."

"Everything was perfect, the apartment is quiet and clean. The rooftop is really cosy, and the breakfast served is really good. Amr is the best, really kind he will help you with tours. "Amir Palace Hotel is located in a working-class neighborhood near the station. I’m the side streets there are all kind of small shops and market stalls. The staff of the hotel do not speak English very well, but they are friendly and helpful. They arranged for me to travel to Abydos by taxi and with a translator to visit the famous Temple of king Seti I and the 5,000 year old enclosure of king Khasekhemwy."
