"Love the rural feeling away from the city. Location was excellent for buses and ease to walk into the town for necessities. Staff were very friendly. Great Aurora viewing close by without walking a long way. Just across the road from the camp or even in the grounds itself. Perfect location"

"I could hear the person in the adjoining cabin speaking in their phone very loudly at almost midnight and had to ask them to be quieter. At first didn’t like the idea of walking to the conveniences when so cold but it was ok. Better to have cabin on own and not adjoining to another cabin if you want some quiet."

"The location is absolutely beautiful. The hotel is surrounded by nature, near a river that was completely frozen during our stay, which looked magical. There is also a forest nearby with stunning snow-covered trees, and on several nights we were lucky enough to see the northern lights above our cabin — it was truly amazing. There is also a sauna available for €25 per person per hour, which was a great addition after cold winter days. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. One of the girls working there was especially kind and even helped drive us into the city when needed. If you have a car, the location is perfect and very convenient."

"For guests without a car, transportation can be inconvenient. You need to check the bus schedule in advance and book and pay beforehand, otherwise it’s easy to miss it. Another downside, especially in winter, is that the toilet and shower are located in a separate building. During our stay the temperature ranged from –21°C to –32°C, so walking outside after showering was very uncomfortable. Additionally, there is no place to plug in a hair dryer inside the shower cabin, so after washing your hair you must go outside to another room to dry it. This is quite inconvenient and can even make you sick in very cold weather. For those who are sensitive to cold, it would be much better to choose accommodation with a private indoor bathroom and shower, particularly in winter."

"The room is tidy. Transportation: there's a bus station right next to the hotel for rovanemi or ivalo. It's also a good transition point if you are heading to Kirkenes in the next morning."
