"The owner Helene was an extremely nice lady. The house was spic n span. Very nice location. Everything, the metro, the convenience stores restaurants, all within 5 minutes walking distance."

"Villa des Lys was the perfect place to stay for our three families with young children - So beautifully appointed, clean, well equipped and spacious with a lovely large garden and fantastic secure swimming pool. We enjoyed the quiet countryside location with good access to amenities, towns and local chateaux, which were less busy than more famous ones yet beautiful examples of splendid buildings. Our host, Laurent, welcomed us warmly and was friendly, helpful and sociable. We thank him for a wonderful week. This Villa was one of the best villas we have ever been to."

She took me to the bus stop and met me when I arrived and was lost, When she heard that the restaurant I wanted to go to for sentimental reasons was closed, she invited me to dine with her. That is definitely taking the extra step, particularly as she is an excellent cook."
