"This hotel was exactly what you would hope for when staying in a Basque village. A beautiful traditional Basque house right on the main square, full of local character and atmosphere. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and everything felt authentic and cosy. The hotel is small and peaceful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Waking up in the middle of the village and seeing the square come to life in the morning was a lovely experience. A perfect place to enjoy the charm of the Basque Country."

"Central traditional location. Convenient parking. Large comfortable bed. Excellent good value, choice of breakfast menu. Great hospitality . Although they do not offer evening meal would recommend the nearby Pikassaria restaurant. Will definitely recommend."

"We only stayed one night and didn’t have breakfast but the stay was wonderful. The host Fabienne was friendly and spoke in Basque (I do too) and that was a plus for me. The hotel is in the town square near amentities and free parking. The weather has been extremely hot and having AC made a huge difference."

"Really lovely traditional room in the heart of Sare. The hotel is simple in terms of facilities but it’s very comfortable and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. There was somewhere safe to store my bicycle. Good breakfast with lots of local products to choose from. The restaurant below the hotel was absolutely exceptional!"

"The reception staff were friendly and helpful. I travel a lot for business and this is the first hotel I have stayed in where i was shown to my room in person, was a nice touch. The room, as you enter, the first thing that hit me was the bed, so big it has different time zones on each side. Could have slept 4 or 5 in that thing. Instead it was just me in the middle. The hotel is in a small town, out in the countryside and was very quiet. There is some building work going on there but it wasn't loud. It has a nice garden and small piece of woodland to walk. The restaurant has some outdoor seating for the summer, shame i went in January really."

"The location is excellent and you are able to walk directly from the hotel to the beach. The ocean view from our room was spectacular, but the room and bathroom were smaller than anticipated. the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming."

"Amazing quiet, peaceful location 4 mins drive from best beach clubs. Wineyards, olive trees, fig trees around. Rooms very carefully designed, performed and ALL is perfectly working, unusual in the area,.wow... Nice pool and area around. Breakfast served next to pool, is very tasty and personal, some might consider it as lacking choice, not me."

"So French and the gardens were stunning. like a national trust! the pool was new and very nice. breakfast was a great continental spread. the beds were comfy and it was quiet. the lake was beautiful and the owners were friendly with good English. nearby Vierzon was 15 minute drive and had a lovely canal with restaurants and shops."
