"We were driving back to the UK from Spain and chose Gujan-Mestras as an interesting stop-off point. We weren't disappointed - the apartment was in a great location, close to shops and the lagoon. We were met by the host's mother, who showed us round the flat and kindly tolerated my terrible French. The flat itself was stylish, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable - even the sofa bed. Would definitely stay again!"

"Excellent location for seeing sights, restaurants etc. Though I note previous reviews, it was very clean for us. I went with a friend, just 2 of us. So we had a room each although one was not fully enclosed. Staff gave helpful recommendations on things to do and on this occasion we were able to arrange to drop a small amount of stuff off(but there are left luggage options around town too). Liked being in an old building, as the part of town. Even though only 2 of us, due to location I think value for money was great, possibly because Lyon seems to be underrated as a tourist destination for reasons I do not understand. Food, attractions, condition, history, safety all wonderful."
