"L’Horizon is such a wonderfully relaxing place to visit. Joost and Ilonka were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. Joost is an amazing chef and prepared some delicious meals for us which we all enjoyed. The location is perfect. Very peaceful surroundings with amazing views. The pool and bar were lovely extras that we all enjoyed. Very close to the lovely little town of Saint Yrieix la Perche. A must do at their recommendation was a visit to the night market at Segur le Chateau…a taste of authentic France! We were so sad to leave and planning our return visit already."

"Location was excellent, right in the middle of the old town, so easy access everywhere. The street was a busy one, one way with only a couple of parking spaces(free). Busy, but at the same time quiet, no noise at night which was very good. Our hostess was superb, she directed us to a fairly close parking area (free). Lots to see and do in Honfleur, exploring Normandie was a bonus. Saturday market is well worth a visit, but if you arrive to the house by car, bear in mind that the street is closed to traffic from 06.00 to 15.00hours (on Saturday), so... you can get out if you managed to park there, but you won't be able to get in the street. Wifi is brilliant."

"Fantastic location for walking into Amboise and seeing the sites. Private and on a nice quiet street. The kitchen had everything you required if you wanted to make yourself a meal. Nice sunny conservatory to sit and read a book and relax."

"A beautiful home set in the peaceful countryside. Marthe and her husband were exceptional hosts. The bedroom was comfortable, spacious and clean. The complimentary in room tea and coffee was a nice addition. We would definitely stay again. Thank you."

"After reading the comments we were a bit worried but I can confidently say that our stay couldn't have been better. The staff was friendly and welcoming, everyone was really nice. No, we didn't have to pay extra for the TV. Wi-fi is alright too. Perfectly usable. The apartment was clean and well equipped. It wasn't huge but it served its purpose for us (family of 4, the kids are 9 and 3). Huge shout out to the restaurant above the pool, La Terrasse! The staff was lovely and we had one of the best burgers of our lives. They also helped us with directions after we arrived. And of course the location! It is breathtakingly beautiful! Our apartment was opposite the bakery on the first floor and we couldn't get enough of the view, especially at sunrise and sunset."
