"Maison Fernand is in a quiet street close to the centre of Bordeaux. The room was beautifully furnished with s comfortable bed and good shower. Very quiet. Close to trams to railway station. Good breakfast served in the communal kitchen. Very friendly staff. We would love to return here."

"Exceptional stay. Location was excellent and close to everything we needed, and the room was perfect for our stay (2 night short stay in Bordeux). Very well presented and maintained and comfortable. The host Kinga was amazing and very helpful."

"Central location- very friendly helpful staff who kept in touch for everything. Top end appliances and touches. Breakfast all home made. Staff were accommodating with a lovely breakfast hamper left in our room when I had to have an early morning operation and didn’t return until midday."
"Outside, front door/street area could do with a jet wash or sweeping up ( even though it’s probably not their responsibility. ) nothing else to dislike, it was wonderful ❤️"

"Very spacious room and bathroom. Rooftop bar overlooking a pretty square. Quiet street. Great central location- tram stop just around the corner so easy to get to the wine museum (a must see in Bordeaux). Lots of cafes etc nearby. Nice straightforward breakfast with fresh pastries etc. Our hosts Emilie and Kinga were very helpful. No lift so you need to be fit to stay here but we would definitely stay here again."

"We were so impressed with the location and our hosts Guy and Corine that it was really hard to leave on our way back home! They were very kind, helpful, gave us a lot of tips, recommendations, helped us find our way around the region. The breakfast was great, Guy made us very good fruit juces, their dog Judie was our kids' greatest joy. The pool was wonderful. For our family of 4 - we have two children of 7 and 8, it was really the Best place."

"Maison Marie is beautifully designed in impeccable country style taste. Everything within the property is unique, tasteful and useful. There was nothing that wasn’t supplied even a milk frother. Marie is the most delightful host and genuinely cares for your needs . Breakfast was sublime and milk, juice, jams, teabags all provided. We adored the village of Lagarde and cannot understand why it’s not be designated a “ plus beau village”. Thank you Marie for a wonderful stay."

"Beautiful home renovated in classic traditional style I loved this . The rooms were great and equipped to make you feel cosy( extra blanket and pillows as I had a bit of “ La grippe” whilst away ) so I appreciated that even in the south of France sunshine as I had a bit of fever /chills .. They have everything you need if you want to cook a bit for your self or eat at the restaurant which I did one evening . The dinner was stunning and the Argentinian beef superb . I ate with some other guests and the hosts it was very cute evening . I particularly liked feeling settled and safe as a solo female traveller this was very important for me and I chose Casa Cessanon for this reason and the hosts and the beautiful maison did not disappoint ."
