"Fantastic location, near the center of Ruffec, with a beautiful large garden and half a forest at your disposal. Secure parking on the property. From Ruffec, you can take lovely trips through the Charente, visiting all those lovely villages or taking day trips to the coast or cities like Angouleme or Cognac. Anna & Ian are an incredibly hospitable couple, with whom I immediately connected (which is very nice as a woman traveling alone). The gite is beautifully decorated, clean, and had everything I could wish for; it really made me feel at home."

"Kind host, lovely place. Close to the beach and Intermarché, the studio is situated in a beautiful and quiet apartment complex. It faces west, so you will get amazing light in late afternoon, and gorgeous sunsets. The click-clack couch was really comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Having a small electric heater and a towel warmer helped, since evenings were quite chilly in November."

We experienced an electrical issue during our stay which meant the lights1 tv, PowerPoints in the loungeroom and hat work for the last two nights of our stay. Additionally the hot water stopped working on the second last day also. Overall an incredible apartment and stay - just think this was a fluke once off"
