"Beautiful, spacious apartment in an old mansion. Please pay attention to the staircases, they are impressively old. Private small sauna, good for 2 people, you turn it on and it's ready in 20 min. Very close to the village centre and 15 min ride to a famous ski resort. Huge balcony, parking space. I really recommend"

"Everything!! 1. The entrance and approach through the deer park. 2. The owner’s (Patrick) welcome and help on arrival, and also his attitude of simply wanting his guests to enjoy their stay. 3. The style, furnishings and equipment of the apartment, which had a real “wow” factor when we went in. 4. The swimming pool - its size, ease of access, cleanliness, setting, privacy, sunbeds, etc. 5. Delicious breakfast brought to us at our apartment on a tray by Patrick. 6. Ease of getting to other places in the area - e.g. local boulangerie and Velaux village centre (for restaurants, shops, post office, supermarket) - 10 and 30 minutes walks respectively, Aix city centre, A8 motorway, walks in the surrounding countryside, etc. 7. The owner’s wonderful friendly and affectionate dog, Vidoc, who was constantly wanting to play with our dog."

"Een heerlijke plek met een fijn terras met veel schaduw! Mooie keuken en alles aanwezig. 2 slaapkamers en een keurige badkamer. Op nog geen 5 minuten lopen van het prachtige plaatsje Valbonne waar je de lekkerste restaurants hebt en leuke oude straatjes. Op vrijdag de leuke markt met van alles!!! De gastvrouw was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij komen zeker terug."

"The host was exceptionally helpful and kind and did everything to make our stay comfortable, despite the language barrier. He even did things like press my suit before a wedding and organise a to go bag for breakfast when we had to catch an early flight. It is in a stunning location, with incredible grounds to walk around and even has wonderfully friendly animals."

"Comfortable farmhouse conversion with a variety of bedroom arrangements. Absolutely ideal for a family or families with children. Well equipped kitchen - by the end of the season in need of a bit of tlc, but nothing major. Swimming pool adjoining house perfect for young children and with sufficient sun beds. Lots of board games, table tennis, etc. Wifi good in the main living area. Super hosts Julian and Sheila live next door, are full of helpful information and were immediately onto any problem. Attractive local area to explore - less than an hour to Mont St Michel and Fougeres and just over the hour to Dinan. Great market in St Hilaire on Wednesday mornings."
