The Egyptian pillars standing inside the front door originated from the Temple of Ephesus and are said to be thousands of years old. Trenython Manor is an architectural treasure, in 1872 an Italian architect commissioned by General Garibaldi, who is often called the father of the modern Italy, designed the building. Other notable objects that can still be seen today include General Wolf’s Headboard, Lord Nelson’s Sea Chest, the dining room walls with carved oak panels and some Italian marbles sent over by Garibaldi which are now in the gurmanski restoran. Tastefully renovated to the highest standards, the resort combines Italian architecture with English charm to offer an oasis of tranquillity and a truly unique holiday experience. The extensive range of on-site facilities includes two restoranska točkas, a bar, private dinning room, conference room, a fully equipped indoor swimming pool, sauna and Gym, while Centar Za Njegu treatment rooms offer the ultimate in relaxation and rejuvenation. The Manor is also licensed to host civil ceremony in a variety of settings; the Gott Suite, a converted chapel with beautiful stained-glass windows and a coastal scene backdrop. Or the Du Maurier Suite with wrap around windows and doors leading out onto the splendid sun terrace. A dedicated co-ordinator who will help with every last detail of the wedding day. Over 30 self-catering cottages and lodges, dotted around Trenython Manor’s natural grounds, are furnished and equipped to high standards. Each has a fully fitted kitchen and lounge area, as well as a private patio on which to sit and listen to resident birdsong or watch the ever changing skies over St Austell Bay. If you prefer, stroll along the stunning nearby beaches, or explore the unspoiled scenery and local treasures at your leisure. The Eden Project, one of the world’s most renowned biomes, is just a short drive away from the area, which makes it an ideal spot for a memorable day out.

"Having stayed here a lot just a few little things have let it down I think since it changed owners they are obviously trying to save money with using less staff. Breakfast day 1 was a bit chaotic Buffett food kept running out no coffee machine working to get latte , cheap juice and jam. Bar not as fully stocked as on our previous stays tables in bar left with dirty glasses for ages even though it wasn’t busy but not a lot of staff around feel sorry for the ones who work there. Overall a great stay just a shame a few little things have let it down from what it used to be ,"
"This is the second visit in around 3 years this hotel it has a slightly different approach from traditional hotels you pay as you go but that's no issue .the hotel is totally relaxing feeling a place where you turn off and chill not fast paced rooms clean and modern and fridge and superb view access bay if you spec upgrade.Staff friendly and helpful spa pool included in stay which is excellent CoOp nearby if you need shop.Breakfast good and restaurant has a very nice atmosphere.Plus the building has so much history and grace about it totally secluded in private grounds and parking."
