"Beautiful house and garden. Lot of trees. Nice pool. Room was comfortable. Back up generator for powercuts was great. Quiet area, close to the sea. Nice owner."

"When arrive, bed sheets were used. We needed to change them ourselves. No cleaning servise. The mainhouse kitchen was only allowed for small cooking like eggs. If wanted to cook food, needed to go outside kitchen. There was no fan or pots, all needed to take there from main kitchen. Very unconvinient and hot to cook there. We were accused from staff and other customer stealing her mobile. Phone was found in her room where she had put it under her blanket. That really upset us. Owners were nice thou and apologize us."

"De villa was prachtig, heerlijk zwembad en verzorgend personeel."

"De douche was gelijk de het toilet, waardoor je met douchen het hele toilet ook nat maakt, dat is niet ideaal natuurlijk"

"The happy corner Lodge probably was the best accommodation I had during my solo travel in Gambia. The food was outstanding, especially the chicken :) But the best part was the hospitality and the tour guide of Mbaye. He truly is the most chilled out Gambian guy ever and the tour he fixed to the stone circles and the river was outstanding. We saw hippos, chimps and crocodiles all in 1 day. I truly think that this side of Gambia, so the area surrounding Janjanbureh, is the real Gambia which everyone should see once in their lifetime."

"no breakfast. The location was fine, but impossible to find without a smart phone/google maps or similar. Even on the road itself, which is a cul-de-sac running parallel to Kololi Road, there was nothing to show where SJ was . The hostess (Nadia?) was great and very sympathetic to the health issue I was battling with."

"The butler Lamin is a very warm and hospitable person. During our stay, we were treated very well, and the whole environment was neat and comfortable. They also have an adorable guard dog. Next time we have the chance to visit Gambia, we will definitely come back here to stay again."

"Excellent location. The apartment is clean, nicely decorated and has good WIFI. The host is easy to communicate with, met me at arrival for the handover of the keys, showed me the apartment and also contacted me during the stay to ask, if everything was ok. As a female solo traveller safety is important for me and I always felt safe there. I can recommend the apartment and would return."
