This family-run gostionica offers a peaceful and friendly stay at Ios Island and is only 150 metres from Chora’s main square. The Avanti is peacefully located in the upper part of the Chora offering splendid views of the town and partly of the Aegean Sea. In this serene setting you can comfortably relax by the swimming pool or have a drink at the bar. All rooms offer a private balcony with panoramic views of traditional Chora. The Avanti offers beautiful corners full of flowers around the pool combined with beautiful views. One of the most well known beaches on the island, Mylopotas is a mere 5 minute drive from Chora.

"Very nicely decorated rooms and outdoor areas. Nice view from balcony over chora and the sea. Short walk into chora, with everything you need of shops, supermarket, cafés and restaurant, bars etc. Ios town is such a cute town, and you can also walk 20 min to Mylopotas beach which is a great sandy beach. In October I had the whole beach to myself, but guess it is more busy in high season. Margherita, the hostess was also very friendly and picked me up in the port at arrival and offered to drive me at departure. Would higly recommend to everyone. Would definitely stay again if I ever come back to Ios."

"Everything was perfect. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the main town, the facilities were amazing including the big pool and lounge areas, the rooms were well equipped with everything, daily cleaning service. Katerina was an amazing host. She kindly refunded us a night as our ferry got cancelled. She also collected us from the port and organised taxis for us. It was very quiet and peaceful. The pool area gets sun all day for tanning"

"Such a beautiful family run business, they were always so happy to greet you, help with booking restaurants and organise transfers. The pictures don’t do it justice! The pool was so lovely to sit around all day, location was great- a short walk into the main town and the daily housekeeping was such a nice touch!"
