"The place is not a 5-star guest house, and I was pleasantly surprised by the way I was treated. The staff were lovely, the rooms were clean, and the facilities were better than some of the hotels I have stayed in across Africa. My bed was even a TV bed — I connected my MP3 player and listened to music through the bed speakers… great experience! The location is excellent, with the airport just a stone’s throw away. The staff even went out to buy takeaway food for me when I requested it, which I really appreciated. I do wish they had WiFi, but I understand they may be keeping their costs down. However, I was given a pre-loaded SIM card to make calls to my family, which was a thoughtful gesture."

"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful place in Speyside. The views were absolutely stunning, and the gardens, along with the surrounding wildlife, made it even more special. Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.
