"The staff were professional but friendly and very accomodating. The breakfast was quite sufficient and delicious as were all meals. We enjoyed the feel of a small boutique hotel."

The house was spacious and clean with A.C., a fan and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge. Mr. Dagobert was very kind and welcoming, he also picked us up from the station. Keep in mind the accomodation is very basic and I think some renovations could be done, for instance our room didn’t have mosquito nets.

По информация от сайта - размерът на стаята е 15 кв.м. За стая Nо 2 тази квадратура вероятно включва и банята, и балкона. Стаята е изключително малка. За една-две нощи е ОК, но за по-дълга ваканция за двама не е за предпочитане. Би било добре да се постави закачалка за връхни дрехи (към момента липсва).

"Great location by the sea and near the harbour. Nice, old-fashioned interior decoration, mirroring the age of some of the buildings. Very friendly staff who let us keep our freezer packs in their freezer. We went kayaking for one night, could leave our car at their parking lot, and when we came back we could use their facilities to get a fresh water shower."

"If you're looking for a quiet place, Villa Serenity by the Water is where you need to go... and yet, it's just a throw of stone away from shops and busy places... as for the breakfast, I must say I've enjoyed the sweetest omelette ever, accompanied with a selection of fruits/yoghurt/toasts... exactly what I needed to start my next journey on the right foot !!!... apart from that, rooms are large, very well quiped and nicely decorated... making your stay real enjoyable !"

I found it a little difficult to adjust temperature in the shower as it is a sophisticated model with thermostat... but had I stayed longer, I would have asked for advice and I'm sure I would have mastered the issue !

"Located in a quiet, idyllic location near the town center, it felt like a little retreat every time we returned home. It’s a spacious house which keeps cool due to the tiling and multiple doors you can open. We didn’t need air con in September. We could close the gates so the dogs couldn’t get in, this allowed the kids to play outside. The three year old was so excited to have swings. After time in the outer islands we really needed to freshen up, so the showers and washing machine were helpful. There was good amounts of drying space, the kitchen was fully functional, and we were given our space to enjoy our holiday."

Tonga is super basic so expectations of any accomodation need to keep this in mind.

Room didn’t look exactly how it does in the pictures, but was still nice. There were a lot of mosquitoes around though and I did get bitten in the night a lot due to no mosquito net, so make sure you wear repellent. Location is on the opposite side of bikini beach and next to the prison, but as the island is so small it’s still only a 15 minute walk away from the restaurants and main beach, however something to consider.

"Very friendly, professional and personal service. Room and facilities were very clean and well maintained. Garden and surroundings are kept neat and clean daily. Ideally located to visit tourist attractions within reasonable radius. Piggs Peak town 1km away and provides all necessary shops, fuel stations and off course a KFC."

On the second day there was a slight smell in the bathroom but nothing too serious , a little plumbing will sort that out !

"The decor and peace and quiet - despite being in middle of town. The individually decorated room was compact but had everything a weary traveler needs.. The food and drinks in the cafe were delicious and freshly made. The hotel owner was charming. I felt very comfortable there."

The only drawback is that one cannot park directly in front of the hotel which is also an advantage as one is not disturbed by traffic noise .

"Excellent quiet location for visiting Constantia and the Hout Bay area. Beautiful view towards the sea. Well equipped and very spacious."

We stayed in the main house which has huge windows overlooking the pool so not at all private. There were often workers milling around in front in the morning. Lack of a private outdoor dining area. Shame there's no balcony on the bedroom side overlooking the sea.

"Everything about our stay was wonderful! The house is beautiful and located in a very quiet, peaceful area. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was perfectly clean. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the friendly, welcoming staff. With a car, it’s just a short drive to Bled, which makes it a great base for exploring the area. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend this place to others! Sve u vezi našeg boravka bilo je odlično! Kuća je prekrasna i smještena na vrlo mirnoj, tihoj lokaciji. Krevet je bio izuzetno udoban, a sve je bilo savršeno čisto. Posebno smo uživali u ukusnom doručku i ljubaznom, srdačnom osoblju. Autom ste za nekoliko minuta u Bledu, što ovo mjesto čini idealnom bazom za istraživanje okolice. Definitivno bih se ponovno vratila i toplo preporučujem svima!"

"Osoblje jako ugodno i susretljivo, recepcija radi izvrsno. Sobe su jako prostorne i čiste, krevet je izrazito ugodan i kupaonica je čista. Lokacija se nalazi blizu autobusne stanice za aerodrom, te je stoga zgodna za kratka putovanja."

Lokacija je udaljenija od mora nego što je navedeno. Na balkonu se nalazilo gnijezdo osa što moze prestavljati problem. Također balkon ima jako loš pogled, ali je svejedno jako ugodno sto soba nudi balkon.

When booking on here, It wasn't too clear about the extra cost of breakfast and also when we arrived, the receptionist told us what time this was but then when we came down for it the next morning, said we had not booked. Needs to be clear on check in and booked then. It would have perhaps been good to have been informed about the wedding taking place when we were there.

Ipak bi trebalo malo uložiti u obnovu sobe i kupatila jer 4 zvjezdice moraju biti puno bolje i oku ugodnije . Nema ni vode ni kave besplatnih u sobi . Dodatno smo platili i obećani besplatni parking .

"We loved the courtyard where we had our breakfast which we put together from supplies from a nearby supermarket and the street fruit vendors. As shown on the wesite, the courtyard is a truly delightful spot, especially in a sunny morning, and important if you wish to eat or chat with your fellow travellers, as our rooms were too small for that. The staff were kind an helpful, and the daily room service and available linen service, ensured a clean room (and clean clothes). The location was close to where our conference was held and in a short walking distance the the lakeside, parliament house etc. Other city sights, the Plaza shopping mall, etc were usually an inexpensive taxi ride away."

The absence of wi-fi and difficulties getting an internet connection the courtyard and my room was a real inconvenience, only solved by purchasing a local sim and forgetting about my usual roaming arrangement for keeping in touch with family back home.
