Stylish and eco-friendly, Dolphin Beach features luxurious tents next to a private stretch on Alankuda Beach, Sri Lanka. Blue skies, clear waters of the Indian Ocean and friendly dolphins will accompany guests on their stay. On-site water sports activities and free Wi-Fi are also available. Decorated in rich and bright orange, all air-conditioned tents feature a spacious verandah with comfortable seating. En suite bathrooms are equipped with a relaxing rainshower. Dolphin Beach is 18 km from Palavi Railway Station and 20 km from Kalpitiya Town. It is a 2.5-hour drive to Colombo City and a 2-hour drive, or 110 km, from Bandaranaike International Airport. Guests can arrange day trips at the tour desk, or enjoy free bicycle rides to explore the area. Laundry and dry cleaning services are also provided by the mjesto boravka. Guests can also relax at the Ayurveda Prostor Za Opuštanje or take exciting kite surfing lessons at in-house school Authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, as well as delicious international buffet spreads, can be enjoyed at the open-air blagovaonica, which also features an à la carte menu. Beach barbecues can also be arranged by the ugostiteljski objekt. A daily breakfast can be served on the beach.

"The beautiful ambience, stillness, quiet, peaceful, allowing you to chill. Having the pool was perfect and the sea was calm and safe. Outstanding was the food from the breakfast to gorgeous dinners, amazing tuna steaks and barramundi. Great cocktails too looking out across the sunset. Dolphin trip in the morning arranged in the boats at the resort was superb, spinning dolphins!"
"No fridge in the tent was a shock, so important in such a hot climate for us from cold climates. This was the only negative as there was the space where the safe was."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

Our half day (evening) Safari guided by Nikki was great and we noted that most other vehicles in block A didn’t have a guide and hence struggled to spot wildlife. Some food was very good - especially the curries at lunch. We loved the set up for the dinner by the bonfire. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly."
