Amazing location on the beach (even though getting here takes a while) Rooms were decent although our ceiling fan was really weak so it got very hot at night. Would definitely stay here again"

"This accommodation is surrounded by beautiful scenery and cafes with beautiful scenery. It’s much recommended for tourist who is looking for quiet and peaceful stay. There is warmer installed under the wooden flooring so it is very comfortable to sleep on during winter. Our stay became more interesting in the morning when the host enthusiastically prepared us a tableful of breakfast. She prepared costumes for the children and initiated to take photos for us within the house and at the beautiful yard."

I am very particular with cleanliness so I didn’t feel that the bedding and pillows were very fresh. The place is actually not difficult to find but we tried taking a bus from Yeonsinnae Station and we took more than an hour to look for the bus stop with the bus that took us up to Eunpyeong area.

The wifi service wasn't not getting it in the apartment have to go out side.

"Nice forest hut on the edge of a forest - 10 min to a beach by foot. You are really almost in the middle of nature here. The forest was full of blackberries when we were there. The kitchenette corner is smallish but sufficient to make a meal for a family of four."

It may be a bit challenging to find the right road leading to the house, but we managed. Go past the road leading to the two storey apartment houses, and turn to the left of the warehouse-like structure which is further on the road.

The staff give an extremely warm reception, they are super friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and what can be done…..if they didn’t know, they knew someone who does. For example, they arranged a night watching the turtles and a guide to walk some local waterfalls. The food was out of this world, fresh and local produce cooked by chefs who’ve been cooking their whole life."

"The huts are amazing, great location max. 3 minutes from the slope if you stay in the furthest one. They’re clean and warm, have all the things you need to cook a pretty decent dinner for a couple of people and there’s even sponges and dish soap at the property. The huts are very warm and they stay that way during the night so you won’t be cold. The owner is great and is quick to offer whatever help you need. It’s a quiet place without many people going through and you can’t hear anything going on in the other houses. The WiFi is very good and each hut has its own router."

The towels provided are every small (basically hand towels) - that’s not bad really but it’d be nice if that information was provided. Kind of no place to put your skis and snowboards except on the small terrace - unless you’d like them in your bedroom - but that’s not a big problem.

Unfortunately there were a few minor issues when we arrived, that eventually got sorted. Given the circumstances of the week prior & sending our condolences to the family, I'm not surprised things were a little off the mark. A broom in the unit be great to keep the floors free of bugs & dirt. We still loved our stay regardless.

"Everything was exceptional - the hospitality, the service, the setting, the food, the environment. The service was some of the best I have ever experienced. The safari guides were exceptionally knowledgeable - we learned a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of every game drive. The food was 10/10 - I am gluten free and they prepared a separate menu for me every meal time. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!"

The cabana was lovingly furnished and we felt at home. We cooked dinner in the evening and had breakfast on the small terrace next to the entrance in the morning. The gardens are well worth a visit! "Gilles & Henriette were superb hosts and made us feel at home. The setting is so tranquil and like a home from home. Breakfast was an unexpected highlight - especially the delicious homemade jams and coconut bread, plus the fruit from the garden. Don't miss sunset drinks and dinner at the Opoa Beach Hotel down the road - plus there's tasty pizza on offer next door too."

Nothing - it was all great. However, be prepared for a steep drive down to the property. We were glad we arrived in daylight. 🙂

1. There was no Iron in the room (it is written in the room facilities) 2. Noisy neighbours (they celebrated birthday and used equipment for loud music and jumped in the pool)

"Incredibly stay! The photos don’t show how beautiful the grounds are. Super recommend the tents and wandering down to the beach clubs in the area for beers and a swim. All of the staff were amazing at helping us organise everything and the food was delicious - special shout out to Brigitte for making our stay extra special, even letting us come into the kitchen so we could learn how to make African tea - we miss you Brigitte!!!"
