Backyard Gostionica is nestled in Thamel, within walking distance from Kathmandu Durbar Square and a 5-minute walk from Garden of Dreams. It features a rooftop garden, free Wi-Fi in public areas and elegant rooms with wooden flooring. It is a 25-minute drive from Tribhuvan International Airport to the boutique hotel. Rooms are simply furnished and equipped with a flat-screen cable TV, air conditioning and a safety deposit box. They have large bathrooms with a shower and 24-hour hot and cold water. "I have been staying at this hotel for several years whenever I travel to Nepal, and I keep coming back. The main reason is its excellent value for money, especially considering its location right in the center of Thamel. The location is unbeatable — you can walk to shops, restaurants, and the main points of interest in the area, which makes everything very convenient. The staff are always very kind and helpful, and they make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The breakfasts are also very good and complete, perfect for starting the day before going out to explore. It’s not a luxury hotel, but for the price, it offers much more than expected. I will definitely continue staying here on my future trips to Nepal."

"Bhiurankot Hill Top Resort is a serene escape with stunning panoramic views, beautiful gardens, and a refreshing pool. My room was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, with free WiFi. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant offered delicious Local Nepali food like Sukuti, Local Chiken and gundruk. Pet-friendly, great bar with hill views, and excellent value.
