"It is on the main street, but outside of the busy rate and easy to walk to the center. Nice garden with pool. Great breakfast. Room is nice and clean with AC."

"La falta mantenimiento a las instalaciones. Es una lastima los revoques sueltos en las paredes del desayunador. A la noche cierran las puertas de entrada y hay que llamar a un teléfono uruguayo para que abran."

"Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la véranda qui donne sur le jardin et la piscine, c’est parfait pour se reposer après une longue marche. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et attentif. Les aires communes sont accueillantes et joliment décorées, tout est propre et bien entretenu."

"We booked the hotel last-minute as part of a work trip to the north of Uruguay. This hotel was practical, affordable & in an excellent location, plus the front of house staff were very helpful. Adjacent parking space and the generous breakfast were a welcome addition. Overall I'd recommend for short business stays in Salto when on a budget."

"We loved our stay at Casa Mar. Everything was perfect, we loved that we all had our own room and bathroom. We loved every night at the beautiful garden terrace table, we spent so many hours there enjoying the stars. The house is very comfortable and is only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. There is a local store close by and a big supermarket 5 mins drive away. Our host was so lovely, he even welcomed us with a loaf of freshly baked bread! Hoping that we will one day!"
