"Poleo is a little peace of paradise. Situated next to Arusi, the furthest village from Nuquí, this place is ideal to chill and relax for a few days (you can walk to Termales in ~40min, hike in the jungle or boat on the river and enjoy the livelihood of Arusí, whitout being bothered by the noise - at night e.g. - as Poleo is a bit further off). Francis is a great host and an extraordinary cook (!!!), we had some of the best food of our whole trip. Highly recommend to stop by Poleo if you are visiting the region."

"Absolutely nothing wrong about this place. General warning tho (to whom it may concern) : if you are travelling without an agency, I recommend doing a bit of research before visiting the Nuquí region - since it is pretty wide and the information I found about it was sparse. I would personally highly recommend staying in multiple spots to enjoy everything that the region has to offer without being too tied to boat (lancha) fees and timings !"
