"Extremely kind hosts who even provided a map with interesting spots around the island. Had a community fridge perfectly identified for each room in the shared space. Perfect location for those who want a secluded place in the wild and want to see the northern lights (which we did). The room had a very large window which provides amazing visibility"

"During our stay in Iceland, we checked the weather forecast every night before. That's why we always booked accommodation late, just where there were no clouds. Luckily, after we booked the accommodation on Booking.com, the hotel immediately wrote that our room and the keys was ready. We got a room with huge windows facing north, so we could see the northern lights from inside through 2 hours 💚💙 It was amazing 🙏"

"The house is located not too far from Hella, but very isolated, which was great to see the northern lights. The rooms were clean and very well equipped, and there is a common living room where you can make tea, and meet the other guests. It felt a bit like living in a shared flat and meeting your flatmates in the living room. It was really a cozy, peaceful stay and the hosts are really lovely people. They gave us very precise information about how to reach the property, and also tips about what to see and to do in the area. Also, Unnur and Ingi come every morning to prepare delicious pancakes as well as coffee, and they spend some time chatting with the guests during breakfast, which gave us a homely feeling. It was just a pity that we stayed only one night!"
